The steel multi level design had been chosen over a concrete
design with cost inputs supplied by Page Steel showing the project
could be built cheaper in steel. Existing site conditions with
limited access helped the steel solution to be successfully
chosen.
Page Steel adopted bolted angle connections to reduce
fabrication hours. The steel solution also enabled the client to
split the building into thirds, erect all levels in the zone, move
onto the next zone and adopt that methodology for the entire
project.
